White Water Rafting on the Nantahala River

A fun day at the lake is a must-do when you get to Nantahala, but for the ultimate adventure-lover, then you vacation won't be complete until you've spent a day white water rafting on the Nantahala River! The great thing about this experience is that in most cases, you won't need previous experience to go white water rafting. The river is controlled by a dam and can actually be available for rafting throughout the season.

Zip Line Adventure Park

Visit the Zip Line Adventure Park at the Nantahala Outdoor Center where you'll find an obstacle course like you've never seen before! Zip Line Adventure Park is a multi-level aerial challenge course that features 16 different obstacles as high as 40 ft. high and takes about 2 hours to complete.
